Privacy policy
Cozy Cove Fishing is a single-player idle fishing game for Android. It is published by Bun Mobile Games, part of Bun Mobile Phone Clinic (trading as The Mobile Phone Clinic) in Australia ("we", "us"). This policy explains what the game and the services it uses collect, why, and the choices you have.
No account, no personal details
The game has no sign-up and never asks for your name, email address, contacts, photos or location. Your progress (coins, gear, fish caught and settings) is saved on your phone. We don't run a server for the game, so we don't hold any game data about you. If you use Google Play Games, the game signs in with your Play Games profile to unlock achievements, post leaderboard scores and keep a backup of your progress in your Google account, so it comes back on a new phone. That profile belongs to your Google account, and we never see your name or email address.
What the services in the game collect

Ads
Ads in Cozy Cove Fishing are always optional: you choose to watch a short video for an in-game bonus. They are served by Google AdMob. If you're in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, the game asks for your consent through Google's consent form before any ad is requested. Google's use of this information is covered by Google's partner policy. You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or limit ad personalisation, in your Android settings.
In-app purchases
Purchases are made through Google Play. The game asks Google Play which items you own to deliver them and to restore them if you reinstall, and it remembers them only on your phone. We don't use any other purchase service. See the Google privacy policy.
Who we share it with
- Google AdMob serves the ads, as described above.
- Google Play processes, checks and restores purchases.
- Google Play Games keeps your achievements, leaderboard scores and progress backup, and shows your gamer name and scores to other players as your Play Games privacy settings allow.
- Google Analytics for Firebase measures how the game is played, as described above.
We don't sell your information, and we don't share it with anyone else unless the law requires it. All information the game sends is encrypted in transit.
How long it's kept, and deleting your data
Your game progress stays on your phone until you uninstall the game or clear its data, and the backup stays in your Google account until you delete it (Settings > Wipe all progress in the game also wipes the backup). Detailed analytics data is deleted after 2 months. Google keeps advertising, purchase, analytics and Play Games data under its own policy, and your Google Play order history stays in your Google account. You can delete your Play Games data from your Play Games profile. If you have a question about your data, email admin@themobilephoneclinic.com.au.
To delete your game progress, uninstall Cozy Cove Fishing, or go to Settings > Apps > Cozy Cove Fishing > Storage > Clear data.
To ask us to delete your data, email admin@themobilephoneclinic.com.au with the subject "Cozy Cove Fishing data deletion". We'll reply within 30 days. Because the game has no account and no server, we normally hold nothing to delete, and we'll confirm that in writing.
Age
Cozy Cove Fishing is for people aged 13 and over. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes and complaints
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above. If you have a privacy concern, email admin@themobilephoneclinic.com.au and we'll reply within 30 days. If you're not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
